One very key aspect of this is that you have graduated from "Oh boy, I'm a lead guy" to "You better pay me for this" in a very short time. You've accomplished a swing in two months it normally takes me about two years to get to.
Calm down. Focus on the job at hand, do it the best you can. You're working with green guys, it's going to go very poorly. If the boss doesn't give you too much flack, then you're ahead of the game.
When you rock and you know it and they still haven't come around, start bargaining. I feel your pain.
