Re: Web Based training

I use exam view to generate my tests and host my exams. The software is about $99 and for an online test it costs me about a penny a test.
There are other solutions but will cost you thousands. Go to www.fscreations.com
Take and look and PM me, I can send you a link to one of my online tests for you to try.

Check out http://moodle.com and http://moodle.org

I have checked this out in the past, and it looks really good. At one time I actually downloaded the software to a web server and played with it and was real impressed, just never got to the point of putting a course up with it.

Moodle is an open source free software that looks like it would really work well for online class administration. I have taken classes before using WebCT, and I think that Moodle has all of the features necessary to put together an online class. You will need to make sure that you have a web host which provides all the functionality you need to run this.

Re: Web Based training

I think you will be impressed with Moodle. There is no cost for the software. You can have them install it for a small charge - which is worth it if you don't have experience configuring the webserver, MSQL databases, etc. The site at http://moodle.org is developed within the Moodle framework, and you can see a little bit how it works there.
