we are installing electrical to an underground
steel storm shelter for lighting and a gfi receptacle in the shelter. The shelter only has one point of entrance which is a 3/4" rigid coupling welded to the shelter for electrical access. The owner now wants a phone line installed to the shelter so if something should block the door they could call out.The conduit to the shelter is 3/4" grc which is fed from the garage about 10' away.I informed them that the telephone wire cannot be pulled in with the 120v circuit in the same raceway, even thought it is only 10'.Does anyone know of any other options? A cell phone does not get out when inside the shelter.Thanks.

Re: underground steel storm shelter

If you know how to use a welding rig you can put as many additional couplings through the side as you want. If not a local welding shop will send a truck out. No problem. :)
