I HAVE TO SAY IT LOOKS LIKE I HAVE SOME MORE STUDYING TO DO,BUT I CAN SAY BEFORE TALKING TO YOU THE ELECTRICIANS IVE ASKED ALL HAD DIFFERENT STORIES.WHICH BRINGS ME TO BELIEVE THAT EVEN THE BASICS,MANY SEEM TO HAVE TROUBLE WITH.CAN ANNYONE SUGGEST A GOOD THEORY BOOK. THANKS AGAIN IWIRE,BPHGRAVITY,HBISS.

The best theory book out there is "There Are No Electrons",written by Kenn Amdahl.Electrical theory is explained through the eyes of an electron.

Cuts through all the crap and makes it country simple.

I would suggest studying from as many different authors as possible. This will give you the most comprehensive and accurate picture of electricity.

I am personally fond of Tom Henry and Mike Holt publications. Each has a slightly different take on many issues and provides a view form two perspectives.
