Transient & Stray voltages

We have a Electronic Plasma cutter here at work and I'm having a time tracking down the source. We have had to electronic failures due to transient voltages sneaking in the back door. Is there anyway of correcting this or this something we must learn to live with? I've had trouble find information on this issue? Any suggestion's would helpful! Thanks

I have had no experience with plasma cutters but my first guess is to isolate it with a dedicated circuit and a transformer/filter combo.
