Recessed 12" X 24" wall washers

Hi everyone: I have about 30 1' X 2' recessed flo fixtures to go in a drop ceiling. Doesnt the grid need to be framed for these fixtures, I dont have em on the job yet but mentioned to the carpenters that I see no other way to lay them in there. Its a 2' X 4' tile opening now. Anyone work with em before? Thanks in advance guys. Jim

thanks "i" i thought so, its one of those contractors that go all over the country doing retail stores. i told em but they dont want "added" work... we prepared they didnt... thanks again Jim
