i have a 100 amp service 120/240 with a #6 GEC gowing to a ground rod at what points on the service can i connect the other end of the GEC TO THE SERVICE.

250.36(F) At any point from the grounded side of grounding connection at the service equipment or the system disconnecting means.

250.53(D)(2) If it's a supplemental electrode, it can be bonded to the grounding electrode conductor, the grounded service conductor, the non flexible grounded service raceway or any grounded service enclosure.

250.24(B)is where you will find it.
