putting a gfci outlet on a switch

Don you can still do that it just would not count as the required outdoor receptacles unless you switch half of the device. One can do that as long as it isn't a gfci receptacle

So the only way to keep my neighbor from running his electric lawn mower from my house when I'm on vacation is to kill a breaker??
