That's what I was thinking. Never seen a mud ring that would fit a plastic box

A regular plastic box, prolly not. A PVC junction box perhaps, but OP says ENT and double gang boxes, so it is a bit strange.

Strange also is how he attached ENT to the boxes. IIRC the plastic boxes have cable clamps. so I am guessing he drilled them. IDK. Do some plastic boxes have knock outs?

The carlon 2 gang(1900) boxes we used had bosses to accept the snap in ent fitting. i cant seem to find them atm. they were garbage pulling wire thru in a riser fashion as the ent fittings were offset and the boxes werent stiff enough. removing a busted snap in fitting was a pita.
