Neutral Bar Oxidizing

Every screw, for neutral wires, in this CB is oxidized frozen. I have to install 2 circuits fast. Is there any way to "encourage" these screws to loosen? Or is my only "Plan B" to replace the Neutral bar, if I can even get that off?

TIA,

Bob

Re: Neutral Bar Oxidizing

Hal,

I've totally wired two houses now. I'm looking for help with this "challenge" before I have to replace the entire neutral bar.

Thanks for your help,

Bob

This forum is for Contractors, Electricians, Engineers, Inspectors, Instructors and other electrically related individuals. It is not a site for do-it-yourselfers.

Your profile does not indicate one of the above professions. Hal's concern is that you may be getting into something above your level of qualification and training. The wiring of two houses certainly does not indicate extensive experience.

Please read the rules and regulations for using this Forum on the main page. Please take care. :)
