Low Voltage Disconnet - What To Do With Remainiing Wire?

When there is a power disconnect for low voltage what are we supposed to do with the remaining wiring? Is it to be coiled up and left in place or what?

It cannot be simply abandoned. It must be removed or tagged for future use.
