We have some scissor lift tables that are 460 volts three phase. We want to make this table mobile. The problem that was brought up is that the extension cord or cable is only allowed to be a certain length. Is this true? If so, what is the code for this application. We want the cable to be about 25 ft long. I also want to mention that it is going to be in rugged environment. In front of a lathe, press brake were sheets of metal are handled over head.
