Kichler fan/light with controller

Quick question please

Someone has a kichler ceiling fan light with controller.

Just looked at the box. Switch had three speeds for fan and on/off light. No pull chains.

I think the switch is RF not hard wired.

The existing ceiling light outlet is on a 3 way and this person would like the light of this fan to operate from the two wall switches.


I think this fan/light is meant to have constant power to the fan/light and then the only control to the fan/ light is from the one controller.
A 3 way for just the light section is not possible

Just received model number from owner.

Yes. Power would need to be at the light outlet always.

Yes I installed some. Its a useless wall switch/use the remote only.

Been running into many like that lately, from multiple brands. I can't recall any with a wall switch controller always been wireless remote controllers. Regular wall switch still sort of useful as they tend to come back on in whatever mode they were in when power was lost.
