We installed a duplex outlet over a vanity in a bathroom. The owner of the unit now desires to move the outlet to the side of the vanity. We would like to do this by leaving the exisiting j-box in the wall, splicing the wires and running conduit to a new j-box location. The Electrical Inspector has rejected this solution as the old j-box would be covered by a mirror and he says this is not "accessible" under the code guidlines. The mirror is removable so we think this classifies as "accessible". Opinions?
