wiring a package hot tub with a "gfi" integrated
at the end of the power cord I find the gfi is too large for sny "in use" cover and the cover has to be extensivly modified. I don`t want to remove the gfi even though I always install a gfi breaker to cover the outlet. Nonetheless is there a "in use" cover designed for this?

I have seen and installed such a cover. It has always been furnished with the tub. The brand name of the tub this experience is based on is "Hot Springs". The tub was a 120 volt model.
Maybe try a search on hot springs tubs.Good luck,
Jim

check your local supplier for arlington brand or intermatic brand in use covers. i have seen these with a cover as deep as three inches, hope this helps.

I don't really know how deep you need, but Red Dot makes some deep metal covers and if your supplier doesn't have them you might find them at the Home Centers.
