How you've seen it on a drawing - Mitsu Split

The Mitsubishi split HVAC units seem to require a branch circuit brought to the outside condenser, then the condenser is interconnected with the fan unit inside, both for power and control in a common bundle. No separate branch circuit is brought to the fan unit.

Normally on the electrical drawings we show branch circuits and Mech shows controls. Have you seen the interconnect power for the fan unit shown on Elec or Mech drawings.

The installs I have seen all have a interconnect cable from the condenser to the fan unit (power & 'control' in one). Some of the drawings I see show this, some don't (the ones that don't, leave it to ones imagination )
