Is one concrete encased electrode sufficient or do ALL concrete encased electrodes that are installed need to be bonded to the grounding electrode conductor (GEC)?

I'd say 250.50 is requiring all grounding electrodes present to be used. How does a structure end up with several of these?

Footings for interior structural columns may be isolated from the perimeter foundation and could possibly contain 20' of rebar (greater than 5'square).

Any isolated item (i.e.)column,can be bonded to any portion of the Grounding System via a bonding jumper. One CCE meets NEC.
