Horn strobes , emg lights,

About to rough in some horn strobes , and emg lights

Should I use mud rings with 4in square boxes.
or just have the 1900 box flush with sheet rock using brakets for the horns.

for emg should I use 1900 box with mudrings
or oxtagon box flush to Sheetrock with brackets.

You need to know what kind of horn strobe you will be mounting.

Dependent on that you may need a single gang, a two gang or the 4" square.


For the EBUs I would use a deep octagon mounted flush with the Sheetrock.
