Looking for anyone here who is familiar with installing Generac's power management modules used to load shed high wattage appliances. From what I can find it looks to be a contactor that utilizes 24Volts supplied from a transformer in the transfer switch. The problem that I am encountering is that these are surface mounted devices w/ 1/2" ko's. The application that I have is a flush mount panel that is in a finished wall. Also, the load conductors have to physically wire into the contactor, a 1/2" ko is not real user friendly when you are trying to bring #8 NM cable into it. These modules are rated for a 50 amps, just doesn't seem that they are designed to accept field wiring for that size of load.
Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks.
