Electrician Terminologies

I have a running list of the terminologies that electricians use that I find amusing. In some cases they are not unique to just electricians, but are commonly used in the various trades.

For instance, something you see in advertising all the time "Fully Insured". Can someone explain what "Fully Insured" means?

Or, what size rope do you need to "Pull a Permit"?

Re: Electrician Terminologies

Mr. Franklin,
Even though I disapprove of your daylight-savings time invention, I will answer your questions -- if only to bump.
You need a 1/4" rope to pull a permit since permits don't weigh much and 1/4" is about the smallest rope you can get.
"Fully insured" would imply having general liability, workman's compensation, performance bonds and whatever else is required. :(

Perhaps you could post the rest of your list.
