door chime transformer

How many of you guys install the door chime transformer in the breaker panel? I have seen it done when the panel is located in an interior wall.Is this a code violation?

How are you keeping the class 2 wiring separated from the line volt wiring?

We had a several page tread on this a while back.No not legal or necessary.A simple way is to mount the transformer on the outside of panel thru a 1/2 inch K O.this keeps high side in panel and low side out.Another safe way is thru the use of a plate cover with hole and use a plastic or steel box.There are also boxes that have dividers in them.
