DC source circuit conductors inside wall?

Can I run DC source circuit conductors, in EMT, inside wall?
Does it change things if it's optimizers?
How about rapid shut down?
DC Disco on roof?

Maybe it changes the nitty gritty of some code requirements (technically that's not a source circuit anymore), but you can still do it.

To be clear: no provisions must be made to de-energize the conductors if inside wall?

The NEC does not require it of PV source circuits but your AHJ might. But 690.15(C) says that if you combine strings on a roof you must have a disco up there.
