Hello I’m doing a commercial building, in which we are putting a new service switchboard from the transformer. The cold water entrance to the building is on the complete opposite of the building. Does the bond have to be within 5feet of the entrance of the cold water pipe into the building? Or are we allowed to bond to the cold water wherever is closest to the MSB?
Thanks

If metallic watet line qualifies as a grounding electrode, ten feet in contact with the soil, the grounding connectiom is made within 5 ft of entrance. If not the bonding connectoon van be made anywhere, but both must be accessible.
