I have a house with both aluminum and copper wiring. I have read about pig tailing a copper wire to the aluminum wire using a special wire nut. Some comments say it would be better to use CO/ALR devices. That sounds great, but...
I can find single toggle switches rated CO/ALR, but I cannot find a double toggle switch rated CO/ALR (to run a bathroom exhaust fan/light assembly). I have contacted Leviton and Cooper Electrical Devices and both say they do not make the double toggle switch rated for aluminum wiring! Are there double toggle switches available that are rated CO/ALR? It is frustrating that electrical device manufacturers don't think people with homes built with aluminum wiring will want double toggle switches, but only single toggle switches.
Thank you for any input or suggestions.
