So, I guess as suggested earlier you can install larger conductor on the 800A ocpd then tap them with smaller conductors. That will meet the verbatim interpretation of the code.

yep... or... i can go down to the end of the gear, and there is a separate 100 amp main on it's own meter....
and i can hit *that*..... and that is what's gonna happen.... i'll redraw it monday, resubmit it tuesday,
and not do it until i have a job permit in my hand.

as he listed my options, this time i'll not bring it up, but i'm saving that little snip on my
