Box Fill

What is the box fill calculation for 6-2" pvc conduit each having 9 #2 Thhn feeders and 3 #6 grounds (total of 27 #2 splices and 9 #6 splices). there are no bends (straight through splices) and the box is pvc.

For these type of questions, it is best that you provide your calculations so we can respond and assist. Start with section 314.28 of the 2002 NEC.

HINT: The conductors play no role in this particular type of box sizing calc.

There is a good article written Mar 1, 2004 by Mike Holt in the EC&M Magizine called "Size Does Matter"

Search for that and hopefully you will be able to figure out your answer.
