Gentlemen,
We have been debating this issue in our shop. Please furnish your opinion:
An existing service has (1) 400 amp rated discon main and a seperate 200 amp rated discon for PLP (Landlord) loads. Is it neccessary to bond the neutral on both s/w's or just the 400 amp s/w where the bond is created to the water main and secondary electrode?
Footmote: There are only two service s/w's, which are under the maximum of six (6) discons before requiring a main discon!
Also, if your answer is yes to both s/w's, then is it required to continue the same neutral sizing throughout both system s/w's (the 400amp rated conductor)?
