Situation is job started.Have 2 sets off 500 mcm in 2 3 1/2 inch pvc under the slab.Main breaker is 800 amp about 100 feet away in middle of building.2 ground rods next to it and they are bonded to the panel. Now the problem,C T cab and meter is on outside wall. How can we bond them to the ground ?Nobody pulled a ground wire out to it.Would it be legal to bond it to one or both neutrals ?

The grounded conductor can be used for all requried "grounding" on the line side of the service disconnect. [250.92] If the grounded conductors are in parallel you will have to terminate both and bond both to the CT can.

thanks Don,i was pretty sure i could but playing it safe.My supervisor got mad when i told him his idea of driving a ground rod would not fly as it would not carry the fault current back to the transformer.

Jim when you remove paint on ct cabinet, put some inhibitor under your lugs before you bolt lugs to the cabinet. This will be above code and a better connection. Neal
