So the bathroom fan for a commercial building is now different then the original plan. There is a single fan that takes care of both the men's and women's room. They want it to operate so when you go in the men's room, you throw 1 switch and it turns on the lights and the fan together. And if you go in the women's room, you throw 1 switch and it turns on the lights in the women's room and the same fan as for the men's room. The way it was roughed in, there was a 12/2 mc feeding the switch in the men's and then the switch in the women's. Then out of each switch box, a 12/2 mc for the switch leg's. The walls are now finished. Does anyone know an easy way of wiring this without having to pull another cable into the switchbox's, or will I have to do some cutting and patching?

thanks

How about installing a ceiling mounted occupancy sensor in each bathroom.
