Any one manufacturer over another?

Seton, Salisbury, Macron safety, chicago protective???

I have seen Salisbury advertisement and they seem to be one of the big players in the arc flash safety business.

The material is what you need to look at, most vendors just make the suits, the materials are made by someone else in most cases and many vendors just sell someone elses stuff under their name. Indura Ultra Soft (Made by Westex) is the most popular material and IMO best bang for your buck, PBI gold is the best material IMO but it is more expensive and if you don't wear it that often maybe not what you need.

Hugh Hoagland (Member here) probably knows more about the materials than anyone else, he has done more testing than anyone. His company has a lot of info on selecting the best stuff for your needs and he lists all his top rated vendors here. http://www.arcwear.com/resources/arc-flash-testing-clothes-suppliers.php
