Question regarding fed through panels. We are rehabbing an apartment building in which upper units subfeeds are fed through lower units subs. Not the way we do things but in this case it would save a ton of work as conduits are properly sized to keep it the same. We are swapping subpanels and upsizing feeders and as mentioned prior conduits are still adequate. Is there anything preventing us from using the feed through method if upper feeds are unspliced feeding directly through lower subs. Thanks in advance

I don't think there is any code issues with it.

How are they routed now?

Why not use a splice box?

They are currently fed through the existing lower subpanels. Wall space is the issue as well as asthetics with putting in a pull box. It can potentially all be rerouted but would save us tons of work if we are able to pull through subs with new feeders
