690.8 (B)(2) - Internal Current Limitation

Does this apply to the inverters maximum AC output current? So if the specs note the AC Max Output x 125%=Conductor/OCPD size??

Example. Inverter AC Max is 20.5 x 125% (690.8(B)(2) rule) = 25A. Then 25A would be used to size the OCPD.conducter from inverter to a sup or main service?

What about an Enphase system? How would you recommend sizing?

With Enphase, you adhere to their instructions.

e.g. no more than 15 M190s on a branch circuit, protected by a 15amp OCPD.
