Are their any provisions, restrictions against doing this? This is a commercial bathroom for an office. The fixtures are to be installed recessed in the ceiling above the sink, and I was wondering because I am new with 277, if there were any provisions. I missed the one that stated that undercounter lighting must be 120 because it is not a certain distance from the floor, so I was just checking if I was missing any other provisions. Thanks in advance.

We do that all the time in commecial building if there is 277 available. there is no restriction in code against doing that.

Not that its likely to change your design, but you might check 210.6(C).
