Does anybody know if a manufacturer makes a
1600A or 2000A 240/120V, 1Phase, 3Wire busway? GE does not seem to make such a product and Eaton has not called back yet, but catalog does not look promising. Siemens guy never calls back, but I am assuming if GE and Eaton don't make it, then Siemens and SquareD probably don't either.

I assume I cannot use a 3 Phase 3 Wire busway because of labeling requirements. Is this a correct assumption?
I figure there will be mixups with switches as well if this solution was used.

I have 6 existing buildings that need to be retrofitted and busway would be a great solution, but the existing buildings are 240V single phase service for the residential loads and 240v 3p 3w service for large motors. If I change to 208V, 3phase, a lot of motors, including a fire pump would need to be replaced. The cost for that may be prohibitive.

Any suggestions?

According to Square D's busway catalog 5600CT9101 page 31:

Systems:
ac?3?3W, 3?4W, 1?2W, 1?3W. All neutrals are
100% capacity dc?2-pole

Thanks,
I also finally got a reply back from GE, now the rep says the factory said it was ok to do this and that the busway is labeled for it.
Where in WI are you located Jim?
