The MEP consultancy at which I work is doing a renovation on a rural school. There are 3 separately derived systems feeding the main building, and most sub panels do not have an EGC. We plan to replace most of the sub-panels, so is it required that EGC's be included on all of them? Also, would it be appropriate to say that each separately derived system requires its own GEC & bonding jumper to the building structure?

Yes, each SDS requires a connection to a grounding electrode system, a system bonding jumper, and a supply side bonding jumper between the SDS and the first OCPD. Any equipment on the load side of the first OCPD will require an EGC.
