Does anyone know if a Waste Oil recycle storage tank and Oil Filter Crusher , located inside of a Shipping Container , where a person walks in and dumps used oil into a tank would be considered a Classified Location ? Studied NFPA , NEC understand gasoline and other flammables , can't find Oil , other than it has a higher flash point as a combustible not sure about its classification or wiring methods . Help would be greatly appreciated . Thanks !

It does not give off easily ignitable gases under normal temp and pressure conditions like gasoline does, those gases are what causes the classification.

Thanks , getting mixed info on NFPA classification weather its 111b flash point 200 F or above same as cooking oil , or class 11 101 F - 140 F same as diesel . Do you happen to know which one ?

In your particular case it doesn't matter whether it is Class II or Class IIIB. See NFPA 497, Section 4.2.7. If you still have a concern, consult with a relevant MSDS.
