Using plastic boxes with metal strain reliefs

Hi, does anyone know of a requirement to use only plastic strain reliefs wehn using a plastic enclosure ?? Seems to me that since there is no where to ground a plastic enclosure, there is no way to ground a metal strain relief. If the cord was damaged exposing a conductor to the strain relief, an energized metal part (the strain relief)would then pose a safety risk.

Any thoughts ???

Thanks.

Take a look at 314.3 and the exception to it.

You can use metal wiring methods with plastic boxes if you provide internal bonding.

Think bonding bushings. ;)
