Hello all,

This may seem kinda simple for you all, but I'm a licensed low voltage guy and I'm curious about something:
We now have some new products (mostly display devices; ie projectors and plasmas) that have dedicated, propritary cables that carry low voltage signals. A few of these companies have not attained any rating (cl, cm, etc.) and I've been told that I cannot run them in walls or ceilings, even in steel conduit. Is this true? Does the NEC or UL require a rating for wires even when sealed in a steel conduit?

Thanks in advance,

Jeff
