I would like to put a 45kva tranny on top of the vault. Can't anchor into it, some type of epoxy maybe?

Anyone done this?

Thanks

I have seen plenty of electrical equipment welded to structures and platforms in high-wind areas along the coast. As an AHJ, epoxy was frequently specified for structural attachments and connections. I am certain a PE could provide a detail specifying epoxy as a alternative to welding, bolts, or other anchoring means.

Send us photos when its done...

yeah, bank vaults are sensitive to roto hammers, and making holes.
the fresno, calif. swat team made this clear to me one night.

as long as you tell bank security you will be drilling holes between floors,
they don't get nearly as upset as when the vibration alarm goes off at 11 pm on a weekend.
hell, i was probably 12' away where i drilled the hole between floors.

seemed like an overreaction at the time...... after all, how much money could i get of of an
inch and a half hole, after all?
