I’m researching torque values, and on a Burndy cut-sheet it says “Listed torque values are for maximum conductor sizes accommodated. Consult UL486 Tables 7-4, 7-5, 7-6 for smaller conductor sizes”.

I’ve never looked up UL standards before, but I found UL 486A-486B (Standard for Wire Connectors) on the UL website and used the free “Digital View” to view the document. I’m not seeing any tables 7-4, 7-5, 7-6. Can anyone enlighten me?

Thanks for the help…

I would call Burndy and ask them to supply you with the tables.

Thanks Newtonlaw! That's a big help. I was expecting to find some very detailed tables, but all I see are the general tables in the back of the NEC, and I cant find any tables 7-4, 7-5, 7-6. I think I will check with Burndy.
