Article 100. At the end of the informational note under (Grounded Conductor). I would add to the end of the sentence.
"Because equipment grounding conductors are not normally current carrying."

Also, why is (Continuous Load) not written as (Load, Continuous)?

Ok ... wth .. I'll bite, The ending of the Grounded Conductor note ,with an educational reason is not what the NEC does, school books, yes.

as far as load continuous, I think its a grammar thing. emphasizing the action before the subject.

You have plenty of time to write up a Public Input to make a change in the 2026 code. The closing date for submitting PIs for the 2026 code will be in September of 2023. The NFPA site for submitting PIs for the 2026 code will open right after the publication of the 2023 code, likely sometime in August or September of this year.
