Just an idea here. How about starting working for a large company like Siemens that operates world wide? The only difference is you would be based in the US instead of Switzerland.

A company like that may be better equipped to evaluate your skills as they operate world wide. You could probably make some inquiries starting now. And make a list of companies other than Siemens, Allen Bradley etc there must be a lot of them

If you want to sell something the first thing to do is look to see who may be interested in what you are selling.

Look around for American companies that are doing business in switzerland. They may need just what you have to offer.

If I was a little smarter I would have read your post before posting mine.
