Quick question. My sister has a sub panel fed by a 40a breaker. She wants to install a new electric range which also takes a 40a breaker. Can I have a 40a in the sub panel which is also protected at 40? The home run to the main is from the other side of the house, in the basement and through player walls (house is over 100 years old).
Thanks for any and all replies.

Quick answer. I think you should call a Licensed Electrician who should answer your question.
