SolarEdge HD Wave firmware

As an owner, I used the SetApp from SolarEdge to see the settings details of my inverter and upon connecting the app updated the firmware of my inverter. I now realize I should have just used the MySolarEdge app.

Should a firmware upgrade wipe out or change my inverter's original settings?
I now see under a menu called "Alternative Power Source" a setting of "Generator". I don't have a generator! So now I'm questioning everything.

The inverter rebooted and everything seems to be fine. But is there a guide of the appropriate settings for a SolarEdge HD Wave inverter connected to a Tesla Gateway w/Powerwalls?
