Under Section 305-6(a), does portable GFCI protection used by personell satisfy the requirement to utilize GFCI protection on temporary recepticles? Or does the recepticle have to be GFCi protected.
If the receptacle itself is "temporary" it must be GFCI protected. If the receptacle is part of the permanent wiring of the building or structure, portable GFCIs are permitted. Note that this is now section 527.6(A), but the wording is unchanged from the '99 code.
