Is it OK to use a step down transformer in reverse. We now have a have a 208V 3P delta primary to a 480V 3P wye system. The equipment (chiller) works but I have a floating neutral on the seconday side since the primary side was delta. The case is grounded, but what about this neutral on the secondary side. Is this a safe and usable set up.
