Plastic wrap for dust proofing lights during construction (floors)

During the floor sanding.

Is their a certain bag that you know of that people cover lights, fans, etc ?

I see the real thin plastic ones that work great. But I'm not sure what they call them.

Do you know if their is a specific brand or name of the bag ?

I don't think a typical laundry bag is going to cover most ceiling fans.

Having not had to do this, my guess is that it would depend: are the blades mounted or not.

Sounds to me like 'plastic drawstring bags', eg:

Again I've not used these or had to do this, hoping that the above points to a product that matches what the OP is looking for.

For a fan, 4 (or 5) smaller garbage bags will wrap individual blades, and masking tape around the base/motor. Just watch the roller going by!

Watch the plastic if the lights are on-- too much heat and you'll have a shrink-wrapped fixture!
