I always wondered why the safety instructions on the lifts say not to raise them while transporting them with the forklift pockets.

I never thought anyone was stupid enough to do it!

I worked with a guy installing highbay lighting for TOYSRUS and he used to swing back and forth on the lift, it scared the .... out of me, I cannot imagine climbing on one of these. This is not amazing, it is STUPID!!

What kills me is that you know there was at least a ladder access to that roof somewhere.

They probably just figured that this would be an easier method than rigging a pully system to haul that flashing up there, or (god forbid) just carrying it up by hand.
