park lights

Hello/ need help with outdoor lights i have 3 lights with power to sockets but lights will not kick on ballasts look new , changed starter but no luck tried different bulbs no luck took reading on all 3 and got 208 240 277 need advice thanks.

Well what did you actually measure at the light? Does it match the tap the ballasts are connected on? How long did you wait, it can take a few minutes for HID lighting to start up.

some fixtures require the use of the lamps with the longer base is it H (horizontal) V (vertical)or U (universal)

Had a similar problem awhile back found out was using wrong type lamp.

is there a problem with the socket,

is there a problem with the wiring between the ballast and socket
