Panel bus or Lone Bus for HVAC system

I'm in a project where the spec says the connections to DDC through Lon Bus & the supplier offering two options either Panel Bus or Lone Bus, also the supplier recommending to use the Panel Bus where the DDC is the same type for both cases, i don't know what is the best option for me? taking into account the connection on the high level through BacNet IP. Thanks in advance.

I may be the only one but I'm not familiar with your acronyms.
What is "DDC" "BacNet IP"?

Heck, I don't even know what a "lone bus" is!

Maybe if you use common terms familiar to us and explain what you are working on someone can help you.

Don't know as I am totally ignorant on the matter. For others in my position:

DDC = display data channel https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Display_Data_Channel

BACnet is a communication protocol for building automation and control networks https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BACnet
